Stability and Reactivity

N/A Condition To Avoid: Heat, flames, ignition sources and incompatibles like sulphur, strong oxidizing agentsand alkaline hydroxides.
Hazardous Decomposition: Heat generates zinc oxide fume. Contact with acids or alkaline hydroxides maygenerate hydrogen gas, which is flammable. Reactivity with water is similar but very slow. Under normalconditions, zinc dust is stable.
